Before You Apply to Hua & Hua

Thank you for applying to Hua & Hua. The following notes explain the challenges you should expect when joining us.

1

Our Business Philosophy: ‘Everything Is One Thing’

We provide integrated consulting from corporate strategy and product development to brand management, including strategic insight, Super Signs, brand proverbs, product development, packaging, advertising creativity, industrial design and brand management. Our goal is to reduce marketing-communication costs, build and operate brand assets efficiently, and help enterprises avoid detours.

2

Our Working Philosophy: ‘Everyone Does Everything’

Our project teams work in a multi-skilled, all-in system. Teams include partners, strategists and graphic designers, supported by 3D, illustration and other specialists.

  • Strategists combine account service, strategy and copywriting. Everyone, from junior staff to management, works on the front line through field interviews, meeting records and more.
  • Graphic designers combine ideation, design and production. Everyone, from junior designers to directors, must practise the craft and execute design. Beauty and craft are the foundation; solving problems is the purpose.
3

Our Operating Principle: ‘No Tendering, No Pitching’

‘No pitching’ means presenting one final proposal to the client, not producing only one idea. On the contrary, the team develops countless alternatives; after rigorous internal review, only one is presented.

4

HPS Is Part of How We Work

HPS, the Hua & Hua Production System, adapts Toyota's production-management approach. It aims to eliminate waste and reduce cost, with just-in-time and autonomation as pillars and improvement activities as its foundation.

  1. One full day of group HPS training every month.
  2. Each team completes one business-quality improvement project every three weeks.
  3. A 30-minute company-wide clean-up at 8:30 every Monday.
  4. Daily morning meeting at 9:00 and evening meeting at 18:00, with the day's most important task recorded in detail in the TB system.
